What is Tutoryum?

Tutoryum is a commission-free education discovery and listing platform that helps you find private-lesson teachers and courses for your child by proximity, subject, availability and price. Fully free for parents, students and learners.

How is educator trust verified?

Tutoryum verifies every educator's national ID or passport at sign-up — this is a precondition. Diplomas, certificates and professional documents are uploaded by the educator to their profile; visitors review them and decide. Tutoryum does not validate the content of those documents. Ratings and reviews come only from completed bookings — fake reviews are architecturally impossible.

What are the fees?

Searching, comparing, messaging and booking are fully free for parents and students. Lesson fees follow the educator's listed hourly or package price; payment runs directly between the educator and the family — Tutoryum is not a party to that transaction and only charges the educator a flat monthly subscription per listing.

Which grades and exams can we work on?

Academic subjects from primary to university; LGS and YKS exam prep; languages (English, German, French); music, art, dance, sports — a broad spectrum.

Where do lessons take place?

Each educator specifies their format in the listing — online, the student/learner's home, the educator's location, or an institution's venue.

Are trial lessons available?

Many educators offer a short trial. It's marked in the listing, or you can ask via in-app messaging.

Cancellation and refunds?

Each educator's listing states the cancellation window and conditions. Cancellations before the stated window are generally free.

How is my child's data protected?

Tutoryum operates in compliance with KVKK (Turkish data protection law). Personal data is processed only to provide the service; it is not shared with third parties for marketing.
